Michael-David McKernan is an Irish filmmaker previously long-listed for an Oscar and a nominee for a Young Directors Award at Cannes Lions.


His debut feature film as a writer-director is currently in development with Screen Ireland’s Perspectives scheme.


The short films he cut his teeth on as a director screened internationally at festivals such as Tribeca, HollyShorts London, Newport Beach, Odense, Flickerfest Australia, Dublin, Galway, Cork and BFI Flare.


When working as a freelance videographer/editor he specialises in creating bespoke content for creative companies. Clients include Sadler’s Wells, Abbey Theatre, ATG Productions, National Gallery of Ireland, Feast Creative Agency.
