Michael-David McKernan is an award-winning filmmaker from Ireland, previously long-listed for an Oscar and a nominee for a Young Directors Award at Cannes Lions.
He is the director of multiple short films that have screened internationally at film festivals such as Tribeca, Odense, Flickerfest Australia, Dublin, Galway and BFI Flare. He is a previous recipient of an Emerging Directors Award in Ireland.
Cat & Mouse, a short film supported by Screen Ireland’s flagship Focus Shorts Scheme, premiered this year and recently played at the Newport Beach Film Festival
As an actor, he trained at Bow Street Academy and credits include Baltimore and Harry Wild.
As a videographer/editor he specialises in creating bespoke content for creative people/companies.
